As the route network becomes increasingly dense, the reality of "goods arriving quickly at Huahu and flowing smoothly in Huahu" has been realized. Ezhou Huahu Airport, with its increasingly improved route network and strong transit capacity, has opened up an "air gateway" for inland opening-up. Relying on a developed multimodal transport system, Ezhou Huahu Airport has attracted a large amount of goods from the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta for transshipment. It operates 59 domestic cargo routes covering 54 destinations, achieving full coverage of provincial administrative regions and forming an efficient and coordinated collection and distribution system. Ezhou Huahu Airport has also actively deployed globally, with a total of 45 international and regional cargo routes opened, an overseas warehouse established in Milan, and a fulcrum for "two-way investment + global sales" created, attracting 16 foreign airlines such as Atlas, Etihad, and Maersk to settle in. This year, 15 new international cargo routes to Paris, France; Oslo, Norway; and Copenhagen, Denmark, among other cities, have been opened, and flights on multiple international cargo routes to Liège, Belgium; Budapest, Hungary; and Chicago, the United States, have been increased, significantly improving cargo turnover efficiency.
